This client is a small engineering and manufacturing company that creates components for control system integrations. They serve virtually all industries from food and beverage, non-woven, converting, building products, automotive, oil and gas, baking and mixing, wire and cable, and quite a few more.
Starting Pay: Based on experience
Shift(s): 8 hours/day, 8 or 9 am start (flexible but consistent) M -Th, 4 hours on Fridays
Requirements & Skills:
- Familiar with general industrial controls, PLCs, AC/DC drives
- Read schematic drawings.
- Assemble control panels and enclosures based on drawings.
- Able to work with little to no supervision.
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Primary Duties Include:
- Interpreting electrical control schematic drawings.
- Laying out and mounting electrical control components, e.g., drilling, tapping etc..
- Wiring industrial control components such as circuit breakers, fuses, relays, starters, power supplies, PLCs, and drives.
- Modify enclosures as needed for operator panels, fans, filters, cable entry/exit, etc.
