Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Starting Pay: $ 16 - $ 18
Shift(s): 6 am – 2:30 pm
Requirements & Skills:
· Previous experience with production, construction, cleaning, or material movement preferred
· Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Primary Duties Include:
- Separates products according to weight, grade, size, or composition of materials used to produce them
- Measures amounts of products, lengths of extruded articles, or weights of filled containers to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Turns valves to regulate flow of liquids or air, to reverse machines, to start pumps, or to regulate equipment.
- Dumps materials such as prepared ingredients into machine hoppers prior to mixing
- Marks or tags identification on parts.
- Safely runs bagging equipment.
- Properly moves bags from conveyor to pallet while preventing backup of product.
- Properly fills out production sheets.
- Stencils customer specific information onto bags/sacks.
- Properly cleans bins prior to and after use.
- Safely operates front end loader while filling hopper.
- Collects and labels required customer samples.
· Other duties as assigned.
