Material Handler | La Porte, IN
Starting Pay: $19/hr (1st shift) - $20.50/hr (2nd shift)
Shift(s): 1st/2nd Shift
Must be available to work overtime, holidays & weekends as needed
Requirements & Skills:
· Must be able to pass a physical.
· Physically fit with the ability to lift objects weighing 50lbs , repetitively.
· Must be able to follow safety rules and guidelines.
· Data entry and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changes.
· Must be ok with heights – equipment can go up 30 feet.
Primary Duties Include:
· Unloading trucks and placing the product in the proper staging area.
· Loading trucks with the correct product for shipment.
· Picking large products from racking systems from the scissor lift platform.
· Operating a cherry picker within constricted areas of the warehouse.
· Maintains a clean work area, free from debris on the warehouse floor.
· All other duties as assigned.
