Quality Control Associate | Valparaiso, IN
Shift D: 7 pm – 7 am, two days on, two days off, 3 days on
Must be available to work overtime & weekends as needed
Client Company Overview
Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of rigid metal, plastic, and hybrid containers in North America. Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Performs review of manufacturing and analytical documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Monitor and audit contract manufacturers and laboratories and perform reviews of batch records
- Conducts audits of internal processes and procedures
- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials and finished products and prepare reports summarizing data
- Perform and schedule calibration of equipment
- Manage the company’s document controls systems
- Create and maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems
- Responsible for daily log activities including GMP compliance, compliance with safety regulations, and maintenance of appropriate levels of needed lab supplies and equipment
- Oversee all new hire GMP training requirements as well as monitor and maintain all GMP training records
- Performs all in-house chemical/physical product analysis
Education & Training
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
Skills
- Laboratory skills required
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle a multi-tasking environment and prioritize effectively
