Seasonal Tax Receptionist | Highland, IN
Temp Opportunity
Starting Pay: $17 - $20
Shift(s):Monday - Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm
Saturdays 8:30 AM - 12 PM
Requirements & Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high client traffic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Drake Software).
- Prior Experience in customer service, receptionist, or clerical roles is preferred.
- Ability to Multi-task.
- Ability to Maintain confidentially of sensitive client information.
- Prior experience in insurance, accounting, or financial services.
- Dress in business casual attire and punctual when clocking in.
Primary Duties Include:
- Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner as the face of the organization.
- Answer and manage multi-line phone systems, make direct calls, and respond to inquiries.
- Schedule tax preparation appointments and pickups and update the client database.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing correspondence.
- Call Clients to remind them of their appointments the day before.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Present clients with their completed returns, ensuring they complete the required signatures.
- Receive and process client payments accurately.
- Use office equipment, including computers, copiers, and postage machines.
- Other duties as assigned.
