Refractory Production Worker | Portage, IN
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Starting Pay: $17 / hour
Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:30 am – 3 pm
Requirements & Skills:
- Work experience in a refractory, steel-making, or similar work environment preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a dirty and dusty work environment – PPE provided
- Metatarsal safety boots required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
Primary Duties Include:
- Operate machinery such as production mixers/blenders
- Load and mix refractory materials with other ingredients
- Bag materials and prepare for casting to be made into shapes
- Operate sit-down propane forklifts to move pallets and molds
Salary : $17
