Saw Operator | CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Starting Pay: $18-$20/hour
Shift(s): 1st
Requirements & Skills:
· Verifies material is correct prior to cutting
· Must be able to use a tape measure
· Works off of cut sheets
· Matches cut sheet description and length of material
· Measures materials manually to cut or through automatic measuring
· Operates saw and cuts material
· Piece marks and identifies steel for customer
· Properly stacks material safely and with customer specification
· Responsible for ensuring blades are in working condition and material cutting square
· Properly marking up drops and returning to stock
· Responsible for unloading the saw with the crane
· Ensures the saw area is properly cleaned daily
· All other assigned duties as needed
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit/stand for long periods of time
Primary Duties Include:
