Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Starting Pay: $17.00/hr – can be more depending on experience
Shift(s): 1st shift
Requirements & Skills:
· Must be 18 years of age or older.
· Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physically demanding tasks.
· Previous experience in appliance repair, electrical work, or mechanical troubleshooting is preferred but not required.
· Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
· Must be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Primary Duties Include:
· Appliance Testing & Diagnosis: Perform tests on appliances to determine the cause of malfunctions and issues. Utilize diagnostic tools and industry knowledge to identify the problem.
· Repair & Rebuild: Repair and rebuild appliances to restore them to proper working order. This may include electrical, mechanical, and other technical components.
· Parts Ordering: Identify necessary parts and components for repairs. Order parts from vendors and ensure they arrive in a timely manner.
· Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner. Provide them with accurate estimates of repair timelines and costs.
· Maintenance & Safety: Ensure that all tools, equipment, and appliances are in proper working condition. Follow all safety protocols when handling appliances and repair tools.
· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, diagnostics, and parts used for each job.
