**Job Overview:**
JMR Excavation LLC is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating various heavy machinery and equipment and working with teammates on jobs to produce a quality, finished product. Ability to read, comprehend and apply job-site blueprints/plans is a bonus. Experience with using a laser and figuring grades using GPS experience is bonus.
**Responsibilities:**
- Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment including but not limited to Excavator, Skid Steer
- Prepare at the work site each day by preparing materials, tools and equipment. Perform tasks such as digging, loading, and transporting materials at construction sites
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently
- Candidate will have the ability to problem solve, work safely and efficiently, and work cohesively with other team members to produce an accurate finished construction project.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on job sites as well as ability to communicate well with management, clients and other employees
-Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly, along with securing all equipment for loading, unloading and transporting.
-All work is on-site in CNY. Expectations are to show up on time at designated location. Overtime may occur. Driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
**Experience:**
- Proven experience in operating heavy equipment such Excavator, front loader trucks, Skid Steers. Previous experience with Pavers, Rollers is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
- Familiarity with construction sites and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with Caterpillar machinery is a plus
