Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. As a Gas Station Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the gas station.
Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Monitor fuel levels and assist customers with fueling their vehicles
- Provide information on gas station services, products, and promotions
- Maintain cleanliness of the gas station, including restrooms, pumps, and surrounding areas
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning windows, sweeping floors, and emptying trash bins
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales management or cash handling is preferred
- Strong team management skills with the ability to supervise and train employees
- Proficient in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions accurately
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of payroll procedures is a plus
- Ability to conduct interviews for potential hires
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shifts effectively
- Knowledge of gas station operations, including pricing strategies, is desirable
