JMT Staffing Solutions is working with a manufacturing company in the Woburn, MA area that is looking to hire a Quoting Specialist on a FT basis. This will be 100% onsite and comes with a base salary, annual bonus and competitive benefit package.

Job Summary

A leading provider of advanced thermal management solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quoting Specialist to join our team in Woburn, Massachusetts. In this role, you will support our sales and engineering teams by preparing accurate, competitive quotes for aerospace and defense (A&D) heat exchangers. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of customer requirements, technical specifications, and pricing strategies to ensure precise and timely responses to inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer requests, blueprints, and technical documents to generate well-structured and precise pricing estimates.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to collect critical details on materials, labor, and production schedules.
• Develop and submit detailed quotations that align with client specifications while adhering to internal pricing guidelines.
• Stay informed on evolving industry regulations, materials, and fabrication techniques relevant to aerospace and defense heat exchangers.
• Address client inquiries, provide necessary clarifications, and update quotes to enhance the likelihood of securing contracts.
• Maintain and update ERP/CRM systems with quote details, customer interactions, and reporting metrics.
• Ensure all quotations comply with required quality standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
• Identify ways to improve cost efficiency and explore value-added solutions during the quoting process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least two years of experience in quoting, sales support, or a technical customer-facing role, preferably in manufacturing or thermal management.
• Understanding of aerospace and defense industry specifications is beneficial.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems such as Oracle or Salesforce.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple pricing requests simultaneously.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive work style.

Preferred Skills

• Background in heat exchanger design, materials selection, and manufacturing methods.
• Experience working with aerospace and defense clients or in a highly regulated industry.
• Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
