Position summary : JMT’s Washington, office is looking for an intern to support various civil engineering departments using their knowledge of general engineering principles and practices to execute various tasks and projects. For the duration of the internship, the intern will be given practical experience on civil infrastructure projects by rotating through the disciplines of water resources, traffic, roadway, construction management, and project management.

Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
