Marketing Events Coordinator
We are an established company searching for a highly creative, motivated individual, with a dynamic personality, who is ready for an exciting career opportunity. The successful candidate will have experience in handling events, festivals, and parties from the initial planning session to complete execution of all aspects of events and ongoing marketing projects.
We operate festivals, food halls, farmers markets, and other projects which you will have the opportunity to help manage and market through special events, website development, and social media.

Responsible for:
- Recommending and arranging entertainment, recreational activities, and décor/accessories to support very successful, fun-filled events.
- Developing and securing budgets for each event and adhering to agreed upon budgets.
- Participating and taking an active role during the events from pre-open to post-close.
- Overall management of the project timeline.
- Post-event evaluations and reporting.
- On the ground and social media marketing including website updates.
Requirements:
- Strong event planning knowledge, event marketing knowledge, and venue knowledge.
- Possess strong creative instincts, and sound business judgment.
- Excellent writing skills for web, social media and marketing efforts.
- An undergraduate education in Marketing, Multimedia, Journalism, Communications, New Media or related field.
- Experience working in a marketing, communications, PR or related environment.
- Experience with social media platforms and understanding of SEO including strategies, best practices and current trends.
- Candidates must possess strong organizational skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail, flexibility to respond to shifting priorities, and to work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines.
- Knowledge of and interest in restaurant and real estate industries preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
