At JN White Designs Screenprint INC, we are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the packaging and shipping of product via various services such as UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and databases for reference and tracking purposes.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Prepares and packages parts for shipment.
- Enters/accesses information on computer required to ship parts to correct locations.
- Maintains all shipping records and keeps files and papers organized.
- Confers and corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems.
- Determines shipping methods for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- May also be responsible for inspecting, waste stripping, and/or packaging of product.
In addition to the Key Performance Factors listed separately, successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum HS Diploma/GED
- Keen eye to detail
- Ability to count and apply basic math skills
- Above average hand/eye coordination
- Computer experience (Filemaker, labeling)
- Ability to read Work Order packet and standards
- Sense of quality and able to inspect against customer specifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize work
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Ability to interact effectively with all departments
- Initiative and teamwork skills are required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good judgment and problem solving
JN White Designs Screenprint INC offers competitive compensation within the range of $16.25 - $17.00 per hour.
Salary : $16 - $17
