Please note that this is a contract role providing services to the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies through external staffing partners of Kelly OCG. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.
Summary:
This position involves managing laboratory instruments and chambers, including tasks such as preventive maintenance, calibration, onboarding new equipment, and maintaining documentation. The role also includes overseeing lab safety, housekeeping, organization, audits, and quality assurance. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating vendor scheduling and communication and ensuring compliance with internal and external teams.
Responsibilities:
- Instrument management which includes but not limited to scheduling preventive maintenance/calibration/IQ/OQ activities, new equipment onboarding, moves, documentation maintenance, etc.
- Chamber management which includes but is not limited to cleanouts, defrosts, and equipment and reagent moves.
- Lab safety, housekeeping, and organization
- Laboratory audits and quality assurance
- Scheduling, communicating, and hosting vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subject area, with a minimum of 2 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required, or a Master's degree with 1 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required.
- Strong verbal communication skills are required.
- Experience working in a GXP environment is required.
- Experience with a minimum of three lab operation activities is required.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to work in a cross-functional customer-focused environment is required.
- Must have demonstrated ability to drive completion of activities in a timely manner.
- Experience with electronic laboratory notebook, Microsoft Office products, SmartSheets, Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
- Ability to work with limited guidance to plan, execute, and follow through with work assignments is expected
- Ability to multi-task, coordinate activities with internal and external operations and service teams, service providers, site quality, and analysts to ensure lab operation activities are completed and compliant is required.
Salary : $45
