Job Description
We are seeking an HR Specialist to support job classification reviews, update job descriptions, and assist with policy documentation for our compensation study and pay equity project. Your role will involve close collaboration with the Lead Consultant and the project team to ensure clarity and accuracy in all HR-related documents.
- Review and update job descriptions to reflect actual duties, responsibilities, and requirements.
- Assist in drafting or revising HR policies, procedures, and training materials as needed.
- Provide support in organizing and documenting findings from the compensation and pay equity analyses.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information on job roles, responsibilities, and departmental structures.
- Help prepare sections of the final report and presentation materials for Town Council.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to compensation or compliance projects.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and clarity.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices and relevant regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
