Position Description:
JNR is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the meetings and hospitality industry. This role focuses on identifying new client opportunities, leveraging social and business tools to cultivate leads, and utilizing existing relationships to drive business growth. The Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for delivering exceptional business results for clients, particularly in the context of their incentive reward trips, small and large annual meetings and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Pursue New Client Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, social media, and other business tools.
- Leverage Existing Relationships: Tap into existing relationships to expand business opportunities and drive growth.
- Cultivate Leads: Generate and nurture leads, ensuring a steady pipeline of potential clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Deliver Business Results: Work closely with clients to understand their goals and deliver tailored solutions for their annual meetings and incentive reward trips.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients. (Collaborative support provided from sourcing and creative services dept’s)
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the meetings and hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and ability to maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Results-driven with a proactive approach to challenges.
- High ethical standards and integrity in business dealings.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
