Job description
We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. JNT Dental prides itself on being a uniquely small medical practice specializing in TMD and Craniofacial Pain treatment. Working with a tight knit team of individuals to offer our patients the most outstanding medical care, treatment, and pain relief is the pride of our organization. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in medical/dental assisting to join our team and help us provide our patients with peace of mind.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work individually with patients and maintain meticulously detailed documentation in patient notes
- Work closely alongside our doctors, scribing during exams, assisting with procedures, etc.
- Professionally conduct patient studies, i.e. TMD or Sleep studies
- Respond to patient calls/correspondence regarding treatment questions, practice policies, prescription questions, etc.
- Ensure a high level of patient comfortability
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant Certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Dental Assistant experience is required
- Excellent listening and communication skills, including ability to communicate accurately and concisely
- Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills as well as demonstrated self-directed work ethic to successfully function in a fast paced environment
- Aptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
- Medical software program experience preferred i.e. Eaglesoft, Dental Writer etc.
- Front office experience a plus

Expected hours: 30 to 40 hours a week

Experience:
- Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
