Security Officer at Job Corps - Protecting and Serving Our Future

Job Summary : As a Security Officer at Job Corps, you will enforce all laws, rules, and policies of our Safety and Security Department, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our students and staff. This role requires vigilance, integrity, and a commitment to our safety standards.
Shift Information : Must be available for evening or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities :
- Patrol assigned areas and maintain alertness for any disturbances, safety hazards, or unusual conditions.
- Engage with visitors, students, and staff, providing assistance and ensuring their safety.
- Conduct security and safety checks of buildings and facilities.
- Respond to complaints, conduct preliminary investigations, and maintain security logs.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies to maintain public safety.
- Provide escort services and investigate vehicular accidents on center property.
- Enforce all center policies, including pass and vehicle permit regulations.
