Personal Injury Attorney

Job description:

• This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Attorney who will represent personal injury clients in New York.
• Handle a caseload, attend court, negotiate settlements, oversee trial preparation, conduct trials, and attend meditations and arbitrations
• Advise clients of claim liability and legal rights and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Conduct depositions and respond to discovery demands
• Ability to conduct discovery and draft motions
• Gather evidence to initiate and support legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of the case
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of plaintiffs personal injury experience.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• The ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Must possess a license to practice law in New York State.

Salary is between 110K -130K. ( 40% on all originated cases that get settled). Plus, strong benefits.
