Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer (Hybrid)

Job description: Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to join their team in London, Kingston, or Kitchener, Ontario. As a key member of the electrical engineering team, you will design and draft electrical systems for various building services projects. Responsibilities include:

• Designing power distribution and generation systems, lighting, fire alarm, and voice/data communications systems
• Creating drawings in AutoCAD and REVIT
• Coordinating with clients, contractors, and sales representatives
• Conducting site visits and construction phase services
• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines
  
  

Qualifications: - 10 years of electrical design experience in the building construction industry, with at least 5 years in Ontario

• University degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Strong knowledge of OBC, OESC, and other relevant codes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to work well under deadlines and lead teams
• Experience in various industry sectors (multi-unit residential (MUR), healthcare, commercial, industrial, institutional)
