Software Safety Engineer

Job description: Work across our organization to design safety into our autonomous vehicle systems from the ground up.

Qualifications

U.S. CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT ONLY!!

Minimum Required Education & Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Systems Safety Software engineer or related role.
• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Experience in safety critical software development (as a developer), preferably using a modeling tool like Simulink or SCADE and converting to C/C
• Experience developing Level of Rigor artifacts needed for compliance to safety standards
• Experience (specific examples) of coordinating with systems teams, test teams, and dev teams to generate safety features

• Experience with 26262
• MIL STD 882E
• ASIL-D
