Job Description
As a Registered Sonographer on our team, youll have the opportunity to work in an environment deeply committed to your personal well-being and professional development. Within a setting renowned for clinical excellence, you will perform diagnostic ultrasounds for the imaging of normal and abnormal structures of the human body and provide quality care to patients of all ages.
Assess patients appropriately for the procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
Take part in the training of students and staff as assigned.
Create a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.
Experience: Experience preferred but not required.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas, OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography. CPR certification required.
Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
