Extrusion Supervisor - Night Shift 12hr

We have an immediate opportunity for a Production Supervisor In this function you will supervise and coach plant personnel in a safety-first manufacturing environment, plan, execute, and assign work, implement policies and procedures, responsible for integration and training of new employees. Drive continuous improvement by reducing cost, reducing waste, increasing efficiencies, and improving quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines; wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately.
• Follows plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMP’s.
• Responsible for following all company Safety, Environmental, and GMP policies and help ensure that all
• D&W employees follow established policies and procedures.
• Assumes responsibility for shift’s output, ensuring excellent quality, safety and housekeeping at all times including scheduled weekends.
• Assists in the creation/administration of detailed employee work schedules to maximize production.
• Revises production schedules and priorities as business needs dictate.
• Writes, trains employee’s on, and implements standard work.
• Motivates and supports shift personnel keeping clear and accurate records of performance, attendance, and safety.
• Delivers yearly employee performance appraisals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
