Weekend Facility Supervisor

The Weekend Facility Supervisor is responsible for trash collection in between shelter/pavilion/facility rentals, noting maintenance or safety concerns, and assisting with tournaments. This position is primarily Saturday-Sunday, Memorial Day – Labor Day, with a set weekly schedule of 12-4 p.m. There may be opportunities to pick up additional hours as they become available through community events or programs. $17/hourly (2025 salary range is $17-$20/hr.)

May be eligible for Earned Sick and Safe Time upon qualification for this benefit.

 Essential Functions

1. Provide positive customer service.
2. Utilize problem solving skills to resolve any issues, concerns, or complaints. Report any concerns to Supervisor.
3. Participate in recordkeeping, report completion, and evaluation.
4. Assess facility for any maintenance concerns.
5. Lead or assist with light maintenance. Including, but not limited to; trash collection before, during, and after rentals at park facilities/shelters/pavilions.

 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to deal with the public in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Ability to work as a team member, but also independently.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and oral instructions, including safety rules.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all age groups.
• Ability to project enthusiasm.
• Ability to be patient in stressful situations.
• Ability to work weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrate good problem solving/critical thinking skills.
• Experience through employment or volunteering.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to socially, physically and mentally perform all essential position functions in the working conditions as described.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to get to facility sites.

Working Conditions

Working conditions may include both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor weather conditions may include sun, rain, wind, humidity, high and low temperatures, snow and other natural weather conditions. Program participants may range in age from infant to older adults, with group sizes ranging from 4 to 4,000 or more.
