What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flat Machine Finisher position at JOB OPTIONS INC?
SUMMARY: Responsible for laundering military and hospitality linen and laundry in accordance with the contract requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Launder all items received from the contract facilities in accordance with the contractual requirements.
- Use Flat Work Ironer to press sheets in accordance with the contract.
- Return laundered item to carts to be returned to the military and commercial account facilities.
- Responsible for informing supervisors and project manager of problems with any of the machinery in order to prevent accidents.
JOB CONTROLS: Receive general oral or written instructions and assignments from production manager, supervisor and/or project manager.
- Carry out assignments with independence.
- Work is reviewed regularly for satisfactory performance.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.
