The Janitor Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring all contractual janitorial requirements of the contract are met. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for the supervision of agency enclaves and Job Options Inc. employees to ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with the requirements of the contract.
- In charge of quality control for all tasks performed to ensure contractual requirements are regularly met.
- Ensures all employees have the proper safety equipment needed in order to meet all safety standards.
- Responsible for completion of daily paperwork and keys in order to keep records current.
- Informs project manager of any behavior or incidents detrimental to our relationship with GSA or project goals.
- Maintains supply control to ensure accessibility of necessary items.
- Ensures proper maintenance and service of equipment in order to prevent breakdowns of machinery.
Schedule
Thursday to Monday from 7:00 pm to 4:30 am

- Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

At least 3 years' experience in supervising staff, at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
