Landscape Supervisor

: As the Landscape Superviosr, you will oversee landscape operations ensuring high standards of efficiency. You will manage a team of landscape professionals, coordinate project activities and ensure that all work meets client expectations and regulatory requirements. Hours are 5am to 1:30pm 5 days per week Monday - Friday. wekend as needed.

Essential Job Functions: Supervise and lead a team of landscape technicians, ensuring effective performancwe and adherence to company standards and Govt. contract requirements.

• Plan schedule and coordinate Landscape Maintenance and instellation projects.
• Conduct site inspections to assess work progress, quality and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on best prctices and company postion procedures.
• Mantain inventoryof tools, equipment and materials. Manage procurement as needed.
• Communicate regularly with clients to address to address concerns, provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain irrigation systems, and repairs systems as per statement of work.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and reports
• Ensure all work complies with QWELL standars and other releven certifications.
  
  

Supervisory Duties

• Responsible for the supervision of JOI employees to ensure all taasks are completed by the contractual guidelines.
• Responsible for quality control for all tasks performed to ensure contractual requirements are regularly met.
• Ensures all employees have poper safety equipmentneeded to meet all safety requirements.
• Responsible for completion of daily paperwork and records keeping.
• Communicates with project Manager of any behaviorial or incidents detrimental to our relationship with project goals.
• MAintains supply control to ensure accessability of all necessary items.
• ensure proper maintenance and servicing of all equipment to prevent breakdowns of machinery.
• Directly Supervises 3 to 4 emplouyees during day shift for landscapimg / grounds maintenance team.
• Carries out Supervisory responsibilities following JOI policies and applicanble laws.
• Responsible for addressing complaints in timely manner and communication to Project manager and direct reports the contract.
  
  

Requirements

• Show 3 to 5 years work history
• Be able to pass Govt. background check criteria.
• QWEL ( Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper) certification required withing the first year of employment.
• Proven experience as Landscape Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, irrigation systems and plant care.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and Company memos
• Ability to write simple correspndence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one small group settings with employees and customers.
• Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems proficiently in a timely manner.
• Proficint in Microsoft Office, Word, excell & Outlook
