About the Job
The Facility Maintenance Assistant position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of facilities at the San Ysidro Border. This includes but is not limited to:
- Cleaning and servicing private restrooms, holding cells, lunchrooms, interior inspection booths, and offices in all departments
- Dusting mop all designated areas and spot cleaning as necessary
- Collecting and disposing of all solid waste
- Vacuuming all carpeted areas
- Dusting all furniture
- Cleaning all interior and exterior glass
- Replenishing all supplies as necessary
