Account Manager - Medical Device Sales (Central Florida)

Remote | Must be based in Central Florida

Summary

Our client is seeking an Account Manager based in Central Florida to join their national medical device sales team! The Account Manager will build and maintain client relationships while driving sales growth and customer success. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in medical device sales, understands what it takes to be a sales "Hunter", and is dedicated to providing outstanding customer experiences. The Account Manager will cover the territory between Orlando and Lakeland.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Educate clients on products and solutions, including conducting product demonstrations at trade shows and client meetings
  • Conduct market research and manage territory to identify growth opportunities
  • Provide in-service training and ongoing support to customers
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales and support customer success
  • Collaborate with Field Service and internal teams to resolve post-sale customer issues
  • Track, report, and manage sales data in an organized and efficient timeframe

Requirements

  • 5 years of sales experience, specifically within the healthcare industry, is required
  • A Bachelors degree is required; however, two additional years of direct medical laser experience can be substituted in place of a degree
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and generating high-quality leads
  • Strong prospecting, territory management, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Practical communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond appropriately
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing and reporting sales activities
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to honesty and professional growth
  • Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management software experience
  • Ability to travel extensively around Central Florida as needed
  • Education / Certification Requirements

  • Preferred Requirements

  • Capital equipment sales experience is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity selling to physicians in private, group, and hospital settings is a plus
