Physical Therapist Assistant
Location : Clermont, FL
Work Model : Onsite; Monday - Friday
Summary
Our client is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join their team! In this role, you will work alongside a Physical Therapist to provide hands-on therapy and support for patients, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy interventions in alignment with the supervising Physical Therapist's treatment plan
- Accept and manage patient assignments based on qualifications until a full caseload is established
- Utilize Windows-based systems for electronic medical record documentation
- Communicate regularly with management and the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding patient progress and care plans
- Document daily treatment notes, contribute to monthly progress updates, and complete discharge summaries accurately and on time
- Finalize clinical documentation by the end of each day
- Safeguard patient information by maintaining confidentiality in record-keeping
- Accurately track and record treatment charges and submit charge tickets promptly
