JOB TITLE: Information Systems Manager
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: CEO

It is the policy of Job Squad that there shall be a description to provide essential information about the work activities to be performed and specification, which shall identify education, experience and skill requirements relevant to adequate performance in the position as described. There shall be no unnecessary specifications which might have the effect of disqualifying a disproportionate number of minorities, women, Vietnam era veterans, disabled individuals, persons over 40 years of age or other protected class members.
PURPOSE: The Information Systems Manager is responsible for the management of services, equipment, and processes that support the core business and infrastructure of Job Squad, Inc. The Information Systems Manager will focus on using the best business practices to improve and maintain efficiency, communication, and equipment. The Information Systems Manager will be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to building security, technology and equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate Degree in Information Systems or other Information Technology preferred
- Certifications in A , Network , CISCO, CCNP, and CCNA preferred
- Minimum of one year’s experience working in a professional office setting
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated basic skills with computers with the ability to type and enter data
- Must pass drug screening and background checks (WV Cares and Federal and background checks) and maintain good standing for the duration of employment, completing recertifications periodically
- Must have dependable means of transportation, a valid West Virginia driver’s license, at least 5 years of clear driving record and experience and be willing to travel to contract and office locations as needed
- Strong communication skills required as contact with multiple departments and service contracts are necessary
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HUMAN RELATIONS:
Incumbent must have good customer service skills, using positive language and reinforcing a climate of caring. Must be a self-motivated individual, who is able to follow directions, work independently and is able to problem solve. Must have the ability to work with and train staff who may or may not have disabilities
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
Incumbent must have knowledge and understanding of how information systems are used and maintained. Must have technical knowledge related to computer hardware and software. Must have working knowledge of website design and development (HTML5, CSS, Wix, and Word Press). Must understand networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.). Must understand IP addressing (Dynamic/Static, subnetting, and Public/Private). Must demonstrate knowledge of Office 365 and Windows Server.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the coordination of communication services and information technology
- Oversees the security systems and access of buildings
- Oversees and maintains the digital security of the company
- Oversees the coordination and initiates the implementation of migration to new software and hardware
- Designs, manages, and maintains the company website
- Plans, secures, and maintains the network within all Job Squad Inc. locations
- Troubleshoots and resolves technological malfunctions related to the network, servers, printers, computers, and any other company owned technology devices
- Oversees all network traffic and data usage within the company
- Acts as the point of contact with the Internet Service Provider, cell service provider, and any other technology provider working with Job Squad, Inc.
- Coordinates and initiates planned maintenance programs for a variety of office equipment, including but not limited to computer equipment, and phones
- Must be willing to create and lead a program to teach others people skills in computer maintenance and operations
- Must be available to give presentations and attend events as a Job Squad representative and promote the capabilities of individuals with disabilities
- Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary in emergency situations
- Attends trainings and meetings as assigned.
