Pay Range: $25 to $40 per hour (DOE)
Job Description
The Web Analytics Manager is responsible for developing analytics and reporting to support and drive key strategic web initiatives.
A highly motivated self-starter, the Web Analytics Manager will collaborate with a team on projects for the company with visibility to management and strategic leaders.
The Web Analytics Manager will be responsible for data mining, key business-driver reporting, data modeling, and delivering results in a clear and concise way that drives decision-making and strategy based on these findings.
The Web Analytics Manager will also be a key contributor in the day-to-day relationships with internal stakeholders to develop digital development plans and execution of testing.
This position requires the ability to understand large amounts of data, interpret that data, and deliver reporting and strategic recommendations to the Director of Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Analysis - Understand and interpret data, and drive decisions and resource investments based on the data. Develop a deep understanding of trends and what drives behavior.
- Data Modeling - Identify trends within the data to segment populations for marketing treatment, change marketing direction, and/or model responsiveness to specific campaigns.
- Test/Control Analytics - Using test/control methodology, develop and report on testing initiatives related to marketing technology projects.
- Clear Communication - Develop clear and concise reports and presentations to deliver results and findings that will drive strategic marketing technology decisions.
Qualifications
- BS Degree - Finance, Statistics, Business, Mathematics preferred
- 5 years in consumer digital and content marketing focusing on analytics
- Familiarity with web-tracking performance tools and metrics (Omniture, SiteCatalyst, WebTrends, Google Analytics, Foresee/Answers, Marketo, site tagging, etc.)
- Experience using data and developing analytics and reporting results to benchmark and measure performance of branding, marketing, and loyalty programs
- Proficiency in data modeling and making recommendations for customer segmentation and digital marketing strategy execution
- Knowledge of consumer-behavior benchmark analytics
- Proficiency with analytics tools and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Proficiency in SQL with command and query scripts
- Knowledge and ability to use customer relationship management tools and databases
- The ability to own a project from beginning to end
- The skills to solve basic problems based on intuition, professional knowledge, sound judgment, and Hunter Douglas policies and procedures
- A willingness to learn new things and be part of a dynamic team
- The ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate solutions
- Project management abilities for small to medium size projects
- Fast learner who is flexible and able to respond to frequently changing business priorities
- Highly motivated, proactive, resourceful, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
