Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a clamp forklift to move, load, unload, and stack products efficiently while ensuring the integrity of materials. This role requires attention to safety, precision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to handle, transport, and store materials without damaging products.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with specific handling.
- Safely move and stack pallets, rolls, cartons, and other materials as required.
- Inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Follow company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and document any issues.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, such as packing, labeling, or order picking.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material handling efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience operating a clamp forklift (certification preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of proper load handling techniques to prevent damage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move heavy loads as needed.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including overtime if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a manufacturing environment.
- OSHA certification or training in forklift operation.
- Basic inventory management skills.
