Job and Talent is currently looking for 1st and 2nd shift Warehouse Picker, Packer for a Food Manufacturing company located in the Franklin area.
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION!!!
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 12 HOURS SHIFT
1st shift hours 6:00am -6:00pm
2nd shift hours 6:00pm-6:00am
Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Packers to join our team. As a Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a commitment to quality and efficiency, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
Responsibilities
- Pack products securely and efficiently according to company standards.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Label packages correctly to ensure proper identification.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking packed items.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in packing or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
- Must be able to stand for the entirety of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
