PLEASE NOTE : ONLY CANDIDATES WITH SUBSTANTIAL KID PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION!

Responsibilities include :

• Manage and direct one or more product lines from ideation to production, including providing direction to the product development team in kid and retail trends, product niches, and opportunities.
• Development of new product positioning, including product name, identification of features / benefits, play pattern, packaging direction, etc.
• Establishing and tracking to strategic marketing objectives and P&L / margin goals.
• Develop and execute strategic marketing promotions / retail events, including mass and specialty channel brand building tactics (POP, Events, Contests, Print and TV Advertising) and national partner promotions (e.g., Burger King, Kraft Foods).
• Direct product and category research program, directing the research team to obtain and utilize product, trend, and competitive research information.
• Develop and direct the creative strategy, including outside agencies (Advertising, PR, Promotions, etc.).
• Identify new product / category opportunities, including development of a 2-year marketing plan.
• Product and Marketing presentations to internal and external groups, including product presentations to buyers, agencies, and shareholders.

Qualifications :

Salary : $110k bonus
