We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Manager who is passionate about the end-to-end ownership of payroll processes, tax, and compliance. This role will serve as a vital member of the team and will work out of our office in Gilbert, Arizona.
The ideal candidate will have a prior history of owning all aspects of the payroll process, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, partner well cross-functionally, and have a flexible, can-do approach.
Pay : $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
Essential Functions :
- Oversee and manage the payroll functions for the company, ensuring accurate and timely processing on a weekly schedule.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax filing requirements.
- Accurate payroll processing of employee pay, deductions, and taxes to include, but not limited to bonuses, reimbursements per diem travel incentives, etc.).
- Serve as the main point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries issues and new initiatives.
- Implement and maintain payroll systems ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Provide training and support to new team members fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, and Operations on procedures and processes.
- Conduct thorough audits and reconciliations of payroll transactions encompassing benefits and paid time off.
- Ensures end-of-year processes are completed accurately and timely, including auditing of form W-2 and other tax documents and delivery.
- Maintain strong focus on employee relations and communication, ensuring that all inquiries related to payroll are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Prioritize data security by maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of HRIS data, while also ensuring full compliance with company data protection guidelines.
- Monitor legislative changes affecting payroll, ensuring timely updates to processes and policies.
- Ad hoc reporting, other initiatives, and duties as assigned.
