Job Details
Manage all stages of labor and employment litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Develop case strategies, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and conduct thorough legal research.
Handle employment disputes, including discrimination and retaliation claims, wage and hour litigation, and workplace investigations.
Draft and review employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements.
Counsel employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws and best practices.
Conduct workplace training sessions and internal investigations for employers.
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials, ensuring effective advocacy.
Provide strategic legal counsel, staying informed on emerging labor and employment law trends.
Negotiate settlements, manage disputes, and cultivate strong client relationships.
Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver successful legal outcomes.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor ( degree from an accredited law school.
Active FL Bar license.
Minimum of 2 years of labor and employment law experience, including litigation.
Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Proven expertise in motion practice, discovery disputes, and trial preparation.
Experience handling labor and employment trials (first or second chair preferred).
