CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST - NEURO & REHAB
Monday-Friday, 8am-430pmThis role involves working closely with patients who have suffered traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and require rehabilitation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of patients, assisting them in their journey towards recovery and improved quality of life. This role requires a deep understanding of neuropsychology, rehabilitation processes, and the unique challenges faced by TBI patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.
Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to determine the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral impacts of traumatic brain injuries.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on cognitive rehabilitation and psychotherapy.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neurologists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.Provide family consultation and education about TBI and the rehabilitation process to support patients' recovery.Conduct research to enhance knowledge and treatment strategies for TBI.Comply with all professional, ethical, and legal regulations as set out by the relevant regulatory bodies.Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest research and advancements in neuropsychology and rehabilitation.Qualifications :
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist, with a focus on neuro / rehab.Extensive experience in working with TBI patients, including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.Current and valid licensure to practice as a Clinical Psychologist.Certified in NeuroPsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology is highly desirable.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.Strong research skills, with a commitment to staying updated on the latest findings in neuropsychology and rehabilitation.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered caresend your resume or apply today!Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
