Job Details :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our team in the Tech Services industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. This individual will also be responsible for benefits administration, ensuring all company benefits are administered accurately and efficiently.

This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance and accounting, a keen sense of risk management and compliance, and a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, accounting, and operations.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.

2. Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).

3. Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.

4. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms' performance.

5. Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations (benefits administration) and other corporate policies.

6. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

7. Responsible for all corporate and human resource activities including employee benefits, retirement plans, corporate insurance and related activities. This includes the coordination of these activities with all satellite offices as well.

8. Monitor and manage company's risk management and compliance activities.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, CMA, or other related certification is highly preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the Tech Services industry.

3. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

4. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

5. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.

6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

7. Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.

8. Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

10. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

11. Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
