We are looking to add a Controller to our team in Detroit!
This hire will be responsible for coordinating, directing and reviewing the activities of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable personnel. Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts, maintaining various accounting records, logs, files, conducting analysis to reflect the Company's financial position and maintain accounting procedures. Preparation of company's financial statements and reports to determine the company's financial status. Direct the management of cash for all companies.

Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Oversee activities of accounting department.
2. Development of general accounting policies and procedures and ensure accounts receivables and accounts payables are accurate, complete and timely.
3. Determine daily cash balances, execute intra and intercompany fund transfers, borrow and pay down revolving line of credit as required, initiate and approve wire transfers.
4. Administer cash management controls.
5. Administer general insurance program.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of general accounting experience
3. Experience within a manufacturing industry
4. Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics and Great Plains.
5. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Experience in managing and overseeing the operation of all accounting systems and procedures capturing all pledges, billings, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
