Primary Responsibilities :
Contract Negotiation and Drafting : Negotiate and draft a variety of corporate and commercial contracts, including hospital service and GPO agreements, business associate agreements, vendor / supplier contracts, NDAs, software licenses, sales and distribution agreements, and consulting / employment / independent contractor agreements.
Contract Management : Assist with contract lifecycle management, including reporting, expirations, approvals, renewals, non-renewals, extensions, and amendments.
Legal Advisory : Provide counsel to department leads, vendors, contracting personnel, and senior management on policy development, compliance, data protection, QA, commercial sales, and distribution.
Legal Research and Guidance : Conduct legal research, prepare memoranda, and offer advice on a broad range of commercial legal matters.
Relationship Building : Foster trust and credibility with internal / external clients, vendors, stakeholders, and colleagues.
Ethical Standards : Uphold high business and personal ethical standards in all actions and decisions.
General Legal Support : Provide general legal advice and represent the company in other legal matters as directed.
Requirements :
2-4 years of experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on contract drafting, negotiation, and the ability to advocate effectively while maintaining a collaborative approach.
Experience with a hospital, medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or diagnostics company preferred.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance, data privacy, and protection laws.
Ability to manage growing commercial contract needs related to global business expansion.
Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple complex, sensitive, and confidential matters simultaneously.
Salary : $125,000 - $180,000
