Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Architect to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role is an incredible opportunity for an individual with a strong background in data architecture and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying and managing our organization's data architecture. You will play a critical role in planning and implementing systems that collect, process, store, and analyze large sets of data. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, the ability to see the big picture, and the capacity to solve complex problems.
Responsibilities :
1. Develop and implement strategic data architectures for core application areas.
2. Implement data strategies and develop physical data models.
3. Improve data foundational procedures, guidelines, standards, and best practices.
4. Collaborate with the IT department, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify future needs and requirements.
5. Develop data processing systems for data modeling, mining, and production.
6. Design and build data-flows using Python, AWS, S3, Glue, Lambda services.
7. Implement AI / ML algorithms to enhance data processing and analysis.
8. Use Terraform to build, change, and version infrastructure.
9. Ensure all solutions are aligned with the enterprise architecture and governance standards.
10. Troubleshoot data-related issues and establish efficient solutions.
11. Stay updated with the latest technology trends related to data architecture.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a data architecture role.
3. Proven expertise in Python, AWS, S3, Glue, Lambda, AI / ML, and Terraform.
4. Extensive experience designing and implementing data architectures.
5. Proven ability to work with large data sets, experience in data modeling, data mining, and data warehousing.
6. Strong understanding of databases and data management fundamentals.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Knowledge of the Accounting and Finance industry is a plus.
10. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results on time.
