Full time Electrical Engineer needed in our Geismar location! In this position, you will offer Electrical Engineering support to a designated facility, collaborating closely with operations, maintenance, and other technical teams, all while being directly supervised and mentored by an experienced engineer.

Your responsibilities may include :
- Assisting the Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Maintenance team with assessing, implementing, and managing facility I&E needs and projects.
- Collecting event reports from electrical relays, instrument diagnostics, DCS, SIS systems, or other software to identify the root cause of equipment failures.
- Supporting the Engineering team by providing expertise to I&E Maintenance Technicians on specialized electrical, instrumentation, analyzer, and control systems, as needed (, diagnosing variable frequency drive issues).
- Creating I&E Engineering Packages to support Maintenance Projects, address recurring issues, and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives for non-capital projects.
