We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Estimator to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our company, ensuring our projects are accurately budgeted and scheduled, and that we remain competitive in our project bidding. With your expertise in project and construction management, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations that will help shape our construction projects and contribute to our overall success.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Estimator, your key responsibilities will include :

1. Developing comprehensive, detailed project estimates and budgets.

2. Participating in project bidding, ensuring we remain competitive and profitable.

3. Managing and coordinating with project teams to ensure all financial aspects of the projects are on track.

4. Providing regular cost management reports, highlighting any potential issues and proposing solutions.

5. Utilizing your project and construction management skills to oversee projects from the initial estimate through to completion.

6. Collaborating with various departments, including design, engineering, and procurement, to ensure all costs are accounted for in project estimates.

7. Reviewing and assessing cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.

8. Utilizing your scheduling skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

9. Continually monitoring industry trends and market conditions to maintain current knowledge of construction costs.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the role of Permanent Estimator, you must possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

2. Proven expertise in cost management, project bidding, budgeting, project management, construction management, and scheduling.

3. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

4. Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data and provide valuable insights.

5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders.

6. Proficiency in construction estimating software and other industry-related technology.

7. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

8. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.

9. A strong understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and current market conditions.

10. Exceptional problem-solving skills with an ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions.

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
