We are seeking a seasoned Journeyman Electrician / Master Electrician to join our dynamic construction team. This full-time role is designed for an individual with a strong background in the electrical field, specifically within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential structures. The individual must have an in-depth understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and a proven track record as a Journeyman Electrician in commercial settings.
Responsibilities :
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with NEC codes.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Direct or train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Provide preliminary sketches or cost estimates for materials and services.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving or lifting heavy objects.
- Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, state, and federal safety regulations.
Qualifications :
Salary : $80,000 - $130,000
