We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic and dedicated team in the Manufacturing industry. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our production machinery and equipment, particularly conveyor systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include :
1. Performing routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on our conveyor systems and other production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with machinery and equipment, using a variety of tools and techniques.
3. Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical problems.
4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
5. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
6. Assisting in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
7. Training other team members on the proper operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
8. Continually updating knowledge and skills to keep up with technological advancements in the field.
Qualifications :
To qualify for the role of Permanent Maintenance Mechanic, you must have :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the manufacturing industry, with specific experience working with conveyor systems.
2. A strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and develop effective solutions.
