We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans, managing parts inventory, and coordinating maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Maintenance Planner will play a critical role in driving performance improvement and ensuring equipment reliability.
Responsibilities :
1. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
2. Manage parts inventory to ensure availability of necessary components for maintenance tasks.
3. Schedule preventative maintenance tasks during planned downtimes to minimize disruptions to production.
4. Estimate labor hours, tools, and resources needed for maintenance tasks.
5. Monitor the progress of work orders and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns by assessing the situation, determining the root cause, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
7. Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of necessary components for maintenance tasks.
8. Oversee day-to-day maintenance planning operations and ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with SOPs.
9. Drive performance improvement by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
10. Lead maintenance reviews to evaluate effectiveness of maintenance plans and make necessary adjustments.
11. Plan and execute predictive and preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
Qualifications :
1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Certification in industrial maintenance or project management is desired but not mandatory.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance planning, parts / inventory management in a manufacturing setting.
3. Ability to read, understand, and execute instructions in accordance with SOPs and mechanical drawings.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, evaluate solutions, and implement effective strategies.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and expectations.
6. Experience in preparing preventative maintenance plans and schedules.
7. Proven ability to estimate labor hours, tools, and resources needed for maintenance tasks.
8. Experience in responding to emergency equipment breakdowns and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of necessary components.
10. Proven track record in driving performance improvement and maximizing equipment reliability.
11. Experience in leading maintenance reviews and making necessary adjustments to maintenance plans.
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
