Job Details
The Payroll and Benefits Administrator is integral to our team! In this role, you will ensure the accurate and efficient management of payroll and benefits administration for our employees. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting a dynamic workforce, we’d love to hear from you!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Oversee and process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, providing clear and timely responses.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
Reconcile payroll accounts, prepare reports, and maintain accurate payroll and benefits records.
Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to manage employee data, benefits enrollment, and deductions.
Support open enrollment processes, ensuring employees are informed and deadlines are met.
Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and benefits regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
7 years of payroll and benefits administration experience, preferably in a mid-to-large-sized organization.
Proficiency with payroll software and systems (experience with Paylocity is a plus).
Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively handle sensitive and confidential information.
