We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to join our fast-growing engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a leading organization, driving key programs and projects within our Ammunition / engineering department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects, a proven track record in meeting deadlines, and a deep understanding of Ammunition, compliance, safety, regulatory, risk management, timelines, and SMART principles. -Minimum Security Clearance : SECRET
Responsibilities :
As a Program Manager, your responsibilities will include :
1. Guiding the engineering team through the development, testing, and implementation stages of various projects.
2. Ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
3. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
4. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
5. Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
6. Conducting a risk assessment for projects.
7. Ensuring compliance with all regulations and maintaining safe work environments.
8. Developing detailed project plans to track progress.
9. Implementing and managing changes when necessary to meet project outputs.
10. Using SMART principles to guide project development and ensure high-quality results.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Program Manager position will have the following qualifications :
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 12 years of experience in project management, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in managing complex projects from conception to realization.
4. Demonstrable knowledge of compliance, safety, regulatory, risk management, timelines, and SMART principles.
5. Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills.
6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
8. Proficiency in project management software tools.
Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
